MOORINGS

Nekton is truly concerned about the aquatic environment. During the years we have installed a network of hundreds of permanent moorings throughout Belize, the Bahamas, Mona Passage, and Easter Puerto Rico and St.Croix at considerable effort and expense. Instead of anchoring, we tie our Liveaboards up to these moorings thus preserving the natural beauty of the reefs from indiscriminate and destructive anchoring. We are continuing to expand the mooring system as more sites are discovered.
